<l>Stay you without in terror of the heat.</l>
<l>I will go naked in—for thus 'tis sweet—</l>

<l>I will not quiver in the frailest bone,</l>
<l>You will not note a flicker of defeat;</l>
<l>My heart shall tremble not its fate to meet,</l>
<l>My mouth give utterance to any moan.</l>
<l>The yawning oven spits forth fiery spears;</l>
<l>Red aspish tongues shout wordlessly my name.</l>
<l>Desire destroys, consumes my mortal fears,</l>
	           <l>Transforming me into a shape of flame.</l>
<l>I will come out, back to your world of tears,</l>
	           <l>A stronger soul within a finer frame.</l>
